GMAT or Graduate Management Admission Test is the most widely accepted exam for Masters in Business Administration. The Test Of English as a Foreign Language is a standardized test that is accepted worldwide in almost 150 countries and more. TOEFL, one of the significant and most accepted English language tests globally, is designed by the ETS and the test scores are valid for about 2 years. It is conducted to test a non-native candidate’s English language proficiency and skills to enroll in English-speaking Universities in different countries. However, If you are looking for universities in the USA, TOEFL is majorly preferred.

IELTS or International English Language Testing System is another major English language test accepted worldwide for higher education and as well as global migration, just like TOEFL. Designed and administered jointly by the Cambridge English Language Assessment and British Council, it examines the candidates’ proficiency of the 4 different types of English language skills – Speaking, Reading, Writing, and Listening. There is no minimum score for IELTS, and the test is valid for 2 years.

Scholastic Aptitude Test or SAT is the commonly accepted standardized test required for USA college admission. Candidates from standards 11 and 12 take this Scholastic Assessment test for the college application procedures. It tests all the basic skills of reading, writing, mathematic of the students. The scores of SAT enable colleges to compare the students from different high schools and further proceed with the admission process. However, the SAT scores are just one of the parts of college application along with the grades and recommendations. SAT was developed and owned by the College Board of USA but administered by ETS.
