About GMAT
GMAT or Graduate Management Admission Test is the most widely accepted exam for Masters in Business Administration. It is a computer-based exam undertaken to assess analytical, quantitative, reasoning, verbal reading, and writing skills. It is one of the most important exams that the management graduates need to score for enrolling into graduate management programs such as MBA and other management studies. Scoring high in GMAT would enable an aspiring candidate to get admission to the top Business schools across the world.
Being one of the most comprehensive entrance exams for an MBA, the GMAT has been provided sole importance with nine out of ten college enrollments taking place through the GMAT scores of an individual.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
GMAT being a computer-based exam, analyses a student’s quantitative, verbal as well as analytical, and reading skills of the concerned candidates. The exam time is 2 hrs and 55 minutes. Additionally, with the essay, it becomes almost 3 hrs and 40 minutes. The scores for the test range from 1 to 36.
Who can appear for GMAT?

- Students appearing for GMAT should be above 18 years of age.
- There is no age bar.
- Aspirants of age 13-17 are allowed to appear for the exam but with an approval letter from their legal guardians.
What Education Qualification is Required?
- A candidate pursuing a foreign degree in MBA must have the relevant graduation degree in the field.
- Working Professionals can also appear for the GMAT.
Registration & Exam Fee
- Students should register for the GMAT exam at least 6 months before the finals.
- The Exam fee for GMAT is $250.
