About TOEFL

TOEFL, one of the significant and most accepted English language tests globally, is designed by the ETS and the test scores are valid for about 2 years. It is conducted to test a non-native candidate’s English language proficiency and skills to enroll in English-speaking Universities in different countries. However, If you are looking for universities in the USA, TOEFL is majorly preferred. Major Universities in the USA and Canada require non-native students to prove their English Language efficiency in the fields of reading, writing, listening, and speaking. TOEFL is one of the most common standardized exams taken by students as it is widely accepted by countries all over the world.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
TOEFL is an English assessment exam conducted to evaluate the English reading, writing, and speaking skills. Students aspiring to seek abroad studies and gain global exposure in English-speaking universities are required to opt for this exam. The exam scores are valid for 2 years ever since a candidate has appeared for TOEFL.
Who can appear for the TOEFL?

What is the Age limit?
There is no such age limit set by ETS for appearing TOEFL.
What Education Qualification is Required?
- There is no minimum educational qualification that is required for appearing TOEFL.
- A candidate can opt for TOEFL even after class 12 or equivalent if the university or the college requires the test score for admission.
Registration & Exam Fee
- TOEFL registration can be done through phone, mail, online, or offline in person.
- TOEFL registration continues throughout the year. Hence, a candidate can register anytime.
- The online registration ends 7 days before the exam.
- The registration fee for TOEFL is $185 for Indian candidates.
- Late registration costs an extra $40.
